Topic: Freedom from Guilt and Shame

Devotional
We are thanking God for the freedom He has given us from guilt and shame.
I watched a movie about a woman who was in jail for murder. She killed her boyfriend in anger when they were having an argument.
While in jail, she gave her life to Christ and people could see the difference in her life. The wardens and inmates kept hearing her talk about being free from guilt and shame. She also wrote to the parents of her dead boyfriend to ask for their forgiveness. I will continue the story…
Today, thank God that you are free from guilt and shame. You may not have killed anyone but you do things that if not for the blood of Jesus; where would you be?
When you do not thank God for something, the effect diminishes in your life.
Fill your heart with thanksgiving today, that you are free from guilt and shame.
