Topic: Meditation: A Key to Reinvention
To reinvent is to redo or remake something completely. It is a process through which something is changed so much that it appears to be entirely new. Our circumstances do not have to define us and we can bring about a change in our lives through meditation.
Isaac was a man who understood the power of meditation. He applied this critical key to his life and it enabled him to reinvent himself and to prosper in a time of famine. He passed on this critical key to his son Jacob who in turn used it in his times of trials and he too prospered.
In my journey with God, I have personally experienced the transforming power of meditation. Many years ago when I was at the University studying for my undergraduate degree, I desired a better grade and turned to the Lord for help.
The Lord impressed upon my heart that I needed to learn to meditate and so I began to meditate on his promises and on my school materials. This brought about a change and I attained a 4.79 GPA, moving from a Second Class Upper to a First Class. Meditation can do the same in your life as well.
The Bible makes it clear that meditation is not the same thing as simply reading the scriptures. You have to utter what you have read. When you meditate, you are able to see what it is that you are to do and you can make your way prosperous. (Joshua 1:8)

Genesis 26:12 “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him.” – (NKJV)
Precious Father, I allow you to reinvent me and my finances. Open my eyes to new opportunities and ideas. Help me to sow in famine and in accordance to Your will and Your word. Amen
