Topic: Things that we already have
Several years ago, my wife and I used to live in a Boys Quarters (BQ).
I used to be worried about the things that we did not have at the time. After sometime, the Holy Spirit whispered into my heart, and said I should give thanks for the things I already have.
So, I began to thank God every morning for the things that we had.
One evening, a sister came to pay us a visit, as she was leaving she noticed there was no television in the house. She told us that she had a television that she no longer used.
She gave us the television and several other people gave us more things we did not have earlier.
Jesus Christ looked at the things He had in His hands and gave thanks for them, and God multiplied them.
Give thanks for what you have in your hands, and watch God multiply it.
Ezra 3:11: “And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the LORD: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever toward Israel.” Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid. -(NKJV)
Psalms 7:17: “I will praise the LORD according to His righteousness, And will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High. -(NKJV)
Psalms 69:30: “I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving. -(NKJV)
Lord I am truly grateful for everything I have, I am thankful. For life, I am grateful. Thank You for everything I have, it is indeed a gift and I am grateful. Thank You for my family and friends, thank You for my health, my job/business, thank You for my education (list what you have). Blessed be Your name oh Lord!
