Topic: The Force Of Joy Part 2 (A Heart Of Thanksgiving)
Thanksgiving comes from the heart and not from our emotions or feelings.
Have you ever tried to praise God and the joy is not just forthcoming? What did you do next?
I think a critical key to note and remember is to start with a heart of thanksgiving. When Jesus was given the five (5) loaves and two (2) fishes, to feed five thousand people, His disciples wondered how He was going to feed the multitude of people, right?
You may wonder, “how is giving thanks going to solve the pressures around you?” But just watch it, when you start with the heart of thanksgiving and you focus on thanking God for the things that you consider little, even though they are not. When you do this, at the end of the day, you will find out that your day will be full of abundance.
Start with a grateful heart!
Should you feel the need to share your pain with someone and be encouraged, do reach out to me using the link below. I’ll be more than happy to listen and pray with you.
Ephesians 5:20 “Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” – (NKJV)
Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” – (NKJV)
Psalms 100:4 “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” – (NKJV)
Lord, I thank You for Your love. You loved me even before I was born, thank You for covering me, protecting me and shielding me. Heavenly Father, I receive a heart of thanksgiving. Help me to constantly give You thanks even when I don’t feel like it, Amen.
