Topic: Thank God for You
Rick Warren in his book; “The Purpose Driven Life”, asked the question:“what area in your life (your background, your physical appearance, your personality) are you struggling with?”
This question struck a cord in my heart, because I once had challenges in this area.
God does not make a mistake. Isaiah 44:2 says “Thus says the LORD who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you: “Fear not, O Jacob My servant; And you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen”. -(MSB)
I remember a story of a woman who is now a pastor. She was in a relationship with a married man, she got pregnant and was thinking of having an abortion. The woman attended a church and the pastor called her case by word of knowledge. The pastor said “there is a woman here, you want to abort a baby, God said He will use that baby to His glory”
Today, that baby is a grown woman and a pastor. His ways are past finding out.
Learn to thank God for the negative things that happened in your life as God has a purpose for them.
1Chronicles 29:13: “Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name.” -(NKJV)
Psalms 26:7: “That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, And tell of all Your wondrous works.” -(NKJV)
Psalms 30:12: “To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.” -(NKJV)
My Lord, You are so good to me in all circumstances, You are gracious unto me. I thank You for things that happened in my life that are considered as mistakes, I thank You for turning it around for Your glory. I give You praise in any situation I find myself because I know that it will work out for my own good, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
