Topic: The Power of Service 3
Devotional
Serving those in authority and those ahead of us is wonderful. However, we also need to go a step further to serve people around us- people who may or may not be in our ‘social class’ and make an impact in their lives.
As we illustrated yesterday, we see an exemplary life of service exhibited in Joseph’s life that even as he was in the prison, he served not just the prison warders but the prisoners as well.
Guess what? His out of jail card came as a result of his service to one of the prisoners.
We need to learn from Joseph’s life and our Saviour’s life, and focus on serving people around us. As we do that, we are showing our service to God and also stepping into so much fruitfulness.
Serve people every day!
