Introduction: Count Your Blessings
What a year this has been!
In all of our projections and resolutions at the start, none of us would have considered in the slightest that the year would pan out the way it has so far. From the obvious being the global pandemic to the other personal battles we’ve each had to face, it sure does seem like we were tossed into a sixty-feet wave on our first surfing class.
As someone said, the goal for 2020 has been redefined to SURVIVE.
2020 has been a tough, trying and an emotional roller coaster for people all over the world! And now that we are in its last month, the most of us aren’t even sure what to expect, if to expect.
However, regardless of how it has been for you, you’ve got to admit it hasn’t been all doom and gloom and that’s what we’re here to help you see.
It’s easy to get lost in the maze of the unfortunate circumstances you’ve encountered this year that you become so unaware of God’s blessings and faithfulness towards you.
The bible admonishes that you COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS, NAME THEM ONE BY ONE, and it will SURPRISE you what the Lord has done. This is as basic as a nursery rhyme and you may be tempted to overlook it as just another cliché but if you try it out, we can guarantee, just like the bible, that you are in for a pleasant surprise.
For the next 30 Days, brace yourselves, get your pen and pads and most importantly, get your heart ready to count your blessings along with us and let’s judge God faithful.
This is the sure pathway to the declaration of the Lord concerning our new year: A Season of pleasant Surprises!!!
Welcome, to 30 Days of Gratitude!!
Hello there and welcome to 30 Days of thanksgiving! On this very first day, we are thanking God for our salvation.
When the disciples of Jesus came to him rejoicing for all the things that God has done through them: they had cast out demons and healed people. Jesus said to them that they should rather rejoice “that your name is written in the Lamb’s book of Life”.
Today, rejoice for your salvation; think about how your life was before you met the Lord. Mine was full of darkness, depression, bitterness, anger, self righteousness and I had a scornful heart. God met me where I was, and fast filled my life with so much joy in the Holy Ghost.
I am so glad that I am saved and I know you are!
Have a wonderful day and the Lord strengthen you!

2 Thessalonians 2:13: “But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth,” – (NLT)
Ephesians 2:5: “Even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)” – (NLT)
Ephesians 2:8: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God” – (NKJV)
My precious Father, I thank You for Your unending love, I thank You for laying down Your life for me so I can have life and have it abundantly. I thank You for thinking of me, thank You for forgiving me even before I was born, thank You for the priceless gift of salvation, I do not deserve it but Your grace has reserved it for me. I bless Your name Father!
